The 32nd Street Farmers Market is open 7am–12 noon, every Saturday, at the intersection of 32nd and Barclay Streets in Baltimore.

GETTING TO THE MARKET

Visiting is easy. There is free on-site parking, additional nearby lots, and ample street parking. Or, take public transportation!

Drivers should access the one-way parking lot entrance at East 33rd Street on Barclay Street and follow the officer’s instructions. Parking is also available on nearby side streets or the lots at Giant Foods (East 33rd and Frisbee Streets) or Peabody Heights Brewery (East 30th and Barclay Streets).

Bike racks are located at the entrance to the parking lot and at the intersection of 32nd and Barclay Streets. Nearby Baltimore City bus stops (CityLink Red and Silver, Circulator) are short walks to the Market. View the Market location in Google Maps.

Answers to some of our frequently asked questions.

  • While cash is always appreciated, Market vendors welcome many payment options. Any customer may swipe a debit/credit card at the Market Information Booth for a small convenience fee and receive $5 tokens to be spent at any vendor; change will be given in cash.

    Through participation in the electronic bank transfer program (EBT), the Market accepts Independence cards for persons enrolled in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program); participants swipe their cards to receive $1 tokens to spend at qualifying vendors. WIC (Women, Infants and Children) and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) vouchers are also accepted. The Market is proud and honored to offer/accept Maryland Market Money, all year long, while funding lasts. Participants in GEDCO-Cares may also exchange its script for tokens.

  • For health and safety reasons, dogs are not permitted at the Market. Only service dogs, required for a disability, are allowed.

  • The Market accepts food waste, courtesy of the Baltimore Office of Sustainability. Note the requirements for suitable scraps (fruit and vegetable, coffee, loose tea, grains, breads, eggshells, gourds) and those that are not (compostable bags, tableware, paper products and produce stickers).

  • Acoustic musicians who would like to perform at the Market must have a current City buskers permit. Stop by the Market Information Booth or contact the Operations Manager to apply.

  • Enjoy just-purchased take-away foodstuffs at tables and benches in the Waverly Commons.

  • The Market follows the City’s guidelines on public health. The security staff, on duty throughout the Market, monitor the environs and assist with any medical or public safety situations. 

  • The Market is a public area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.
